The room was really nice and cozy, had a good-looking decor and all the necessary amenities like a hair dryer and fluffy towels. 😊 Plus, there was a lovely view of the gardens from the room. Everything was just perfect!

The location of this place is amazing, nestled among the peaceful forest, with a lovely garden, and close to shops and restaurants, all set in the foothills of the Tararua Range.

The accommodation met all my needs and I would definitely return, with a lovely room, perfect surroundings and beautiful garden views.

I had so much fun hiking with the other guests, my safety was guaranteed with all those fire extinguishers and first aid kits, and free WiFi made it easy to share my adventure on social media.

I chose to stay at Matai Huka Boutique Accommodation because of its convenient location near the Nikau Palm Reserve. I wanted to visit the reserve and explore its beautiful surroundings. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent housekeeping service provided by the hotel. The rooms were always well-maintained and clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. , I loved the facilities offered by the accommodation, such as the barbecue facilities and the fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stovetops, microwaves. It made me feel right at home.

Directions. Road works and Google Maps were not reliable during my visit.
